The Country of Facebook

It takes a money system, a “president”, people, and laws to establish a country. Facebook has all of these features plus a small cost of living. It costs nothing to become a member on Facebook and the coin system is implemented. A person can buy these credits with any currency, even WalMart has these cards  . Mark Zuckerberg is obviously the “president”, but Facebook is ruled by the users to an extent. People is not a problem because half the Earth’s population has an account on Facebook. Once again, it costs no money to be a member of Facebook, which is very connivent.

The only problems that occur are the ones that the virtual world fails in. Such as land, multi-accounts, social engineering, and of course hacking.

Bitcoin Mining Co-Op

The prices of Bitcoin mining hardware is expensive and I would like to take an invective to help those people that do not have the money to buy the new ACIS from Butterfly Labs. I want to offer a program that allows you to Co-Op with me while earning Bitcoin. I have 3 Jalapenos on preorder right now and I would like to upgrade to  a Little Single. I only require $200 to upgrade. My  line in place is 2985 for my first Jalapeno, so when I upgrade I will remain in that same position.

I am releasing 20 shares at $10 apiece. You can purchase as many as you want. The total cost of a Little Single is $650, so their will be 65 shares total and I will own 45 of them.   I will split the money evenly based on how many shares you have. Also you will be able to see how fast it is hashing via BAMT’s web admin. A website will be made showing you how much we made that week. I will buy the shares back at $15 after 1 month. You will get to keep your earnings.

More Information:

  • Shares Total = 65
  • Shares Selling = 20
  • Share Price = $10
  • Payments Accepted = Paypal, Bitcoin

How to Mine Bitcoins on Windows!

I am going to show you how to mine Bitcoins from start to end. I have been mining for about a year now and it was difficult to get everything set up the first time. I am assuming that you are using Windows XP/Vista/7/8.

Downloads : Please download/install all of the programs below to get started.

After you have all 3 programs :

  1. Install ATI SDK v2.0
  2. Install Bitcoin Wallet and generate an address
  3. Register on a mining pool: here
  4. Open GUI Miner and enter you workers information into the fields specified
  5. Enter your Bitcoin address into the field on your pool so that the BTC that you generate will be sent to you
  6. Profit!

I know this sounds easy, but you may have problems. For example, if your SDK wont install correctly, you may need to update your GPU drivers. If you have any problems please comment on here and I will help you,

The New Generation of Bitcoin Mining: ASIC.

Bitcoin mining is getting more difficult everyday. At first miners were using CPU power to process shares of Bitcoin and now their GPU. After so many people upgrade to GPUs the difficulty of the network skyrocketed which made a market for FPGAs, low power miners. FPGAs did not hit the market very hard because they were too expensive. It is time for a new generation of miners, ASICs.

Butterfly Labs are currently producing 4 diffident ACIS products:

  • BitForce Jalapeno | 4.5 GH/s for only $149.
  • BitForce ‘Little’ Single SC | 30 GH/s for only $649.
  • BitForce Single ‘SC’ | 60 GH/s for only $1,299.
  • BitForce Mini Rig ‘SC’ | 1,500 GH/s for only $29,899.

These products are like FPGAs, but their costs is low and hash rate is high. The only problem is the demand. They are manually assembling every little chip on these parts and thousands of orders have been placed. They keep a blog  where Jodi keeps customers updated on the status of the orders, so far none have been shipped.

I bought 3 Jalapenos and I am upgrading to one Little Single soon. If you get in early it will only take around 10 days to get your full investment back. Soon after the majority of the miners receive the ASICs, the difficulty will hit an all time high making each block take longer to mine. The block reward is soon to half, so instead of receiving 50 BTC, only 25 will be rewarded.

So what are people going to do with their old GPU powered rigs? I am going to mine Litecoin with all 3 of mine. I believe that the price of LTC will rise once people mine and sell more. Most will, if not already, sell off their rigs to buy ASICs, but I believe mining LTC will be of more value than selling the entire rig.

If you have not used Bitcoin yet, you need to give it a try. You will need a wallet, a miner, a pool, and some free coins! I will make a post explaining how to set everything up soon. Thanks for reading!
